It is now June and there has been no movement except for the fact that I now know I am number #4 in the long line of dossiers waiting for approval at the Rwandan Ministry. She said that she has the impression that new dossiers are being reviewed by the Ministry in Rwanda. Of course, I know from the experience of others before me that this doesn’t always mean an approval letter will be coming quickly; however, some news is better than no news. After my marathon day yesterday, my 4th marriage certificate made it to AWAA and the Embassy today. It is in process of being authenticated as I write. I, also, received an email from the Rwandan Ministry saying that as soon as they were able to verify that my marriage certificate had been authenticated, they would email my non-objection letter. We are excited to begin to establish this kind of community. We had lunch at Pei Wei and discovered that our Dossier's (paperwork) arrived in Rwanda close to the same time - the other 2 familes on Oct. 12 and ours on Nov. 1. THE RUTLEDGES IN TENNESSEE. Wednesday, December 10, 2014. Animals come and go around here. About 2 weeks the remaining 2 kittens from Ann's last litter went home with their new owners, our nieces. They were fun and playful and Hope really wanted to keep at least one. Being a sucker for animals I am surprised I held to my "no" but I did. Here they are a couple of weeks before we gave them away. Now we have 5 new little puppies to add to our animal collection around here. Yes, our dog, Daisy, had pups.

Monday, May 23, 2011. So good to be home! Crew really does adore Sadie right now. He can't take his eyes off her and she can make him laugh more than anyone else. Sadie wants to help him to everything and is a great diaper changing helper and is getting pretty good at feeding him his cereal.
