Saturday, August 28, 2010. 4H Day at the Ex was just this past week. It has been a super busy week, and more if you count all those days of barn cleanup, working on the new cement floor, endless meetings, decorating and moving animals, and it's no wonder I don't know what my husband looks like anymore. Friday, February 27, 2009. 1: The sleepy birthday girl went to sleep a 10 year old, and woke up an 11 year old. Almost. She's become aware of her birth "time" of 11:54 pm. She was listening to the radio to hear her name. 2: Even tho Daddy wasnt around, the birthday girl had to open a present before school; what is the fun, and we cant wait, and besides she should have something to wear to school :). 3: and its a shirt and a sweater! Monday, July 12, 2010. So as not to bore anyone I will just post links to the running posts I have put up on The Running Blog. Running is going well, Ive done some races and posted some good times (for me - no comparisons) as Im getting a little faster and being able to go longer distances. Planning for a full marathon this fall (questionable choice) and needing to move on the training and race less ;). Sunday, October 11, 2009. Paddy Enters Stage Left. So things didnt last long with Kylie; between logistics, distance, and some very naughty behavior, we have had to move on; nuff said about that. So through some contacts at AC we were introduced to Paddy; a 5 year old French Canadian gelding. With a sweet temperament and calm way of going, we are hopeful that this relationship will work out. So we went back out on a Saturday and had a test ride. First thing they did was jump on bareback lol Go Kids!

Sunday, June 27, 2010. As with other summers, our girls are all playing soccer this summer. Some of them started getting ready at Easter time! They really do love soccer, and it is SO much better when you have a ball that is pink and sparkling. I wonder what pink socks would do? Warming up in the garage. We got her signed up for Rec soccer again (omg) and she went out to those practices. We also signed her up for an additional practice during the week. Friday, August 07, 2009. New Addition to the Family :). At the end of July this year we had an addition to our family :) After many horse free years we have entered a new horsey relationship :). Kylie belongs to my friend Gill's Motherinlaw, Pam. She has had Kylie since she was 2 years old and she is 11 now. Breed only we can guess at, she is a Bay, big and muscled and really likes to jump :) Pam offered her to Gill and we are half leasing her :). Kylie was ready to go in her fancy travelling clothes ;).
