Monday, April 16, 2012. Want to know the "recipe" for Rolo/peppermint patty cookies? I have it memorized. 1 chocolate cake mix. I like devil's food. 1 package of Rolos or peppermint patties. Pre-heat oven to 350. Mix up the dough- it will be very thick. For rolo cookies, take a rolo and put just enough dough on it to hide it completely- remember it's a surprise! A can of Coke a Cola is added to the water, then the beans simmer for about 3 to 4 hours. Then and only then do I add salt and other seasonings. Why you may wonder? If you add salt to them before you cook them they will be hard! Hope you enjoy. If you make them let me know how they turn out please! More recipes to come later.
