http://fumblingtowardseternity.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
The explorations of an armchair pagan trying to find a path. Tuesday, April 30, 2013. Where is this "spring" you speak of? I do this every year. I get all excited that spring is coming and then.then I remember that I live in the Rockies. In Canada. The cold Canadian Rockies. Winter wasn't so terrible this year (only one REALLY cold day to speak of) but that doesn't mean I wasn't looking forward to warm weather! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. This N That: JUST A LITTLE TWEAKING
http://missymax-thisandthat.blogspot.com/2015/08/just-little-tweaking.html
Friday, August 14, 2015. JUST A LITTLE TWEAKING. The bushes (Red Twig Dogwoods) on either side of the tree. Are outgrowing their space and have to be continually pruned so they don't cover the window. SOthey are going to a new home. I think they have moved to one of the retention ponds. On the West Side. They are gone now and the two shrubs on the right. Were placed in to their holes. A Crape Myrtle and a Flowering Almond. I pulled the daises out as well. Looks like there is work to be done. Love that wh...

Georgia Girl With An English Heart: Pineweed- Yellow Blossoms Like Star Jewels
http://georgiagirlwithanenglishheart.blogspot.com/2015/07/pineweed-yellow-blossoms-like-star.html
Georgia Girl With An English Heart. Monday, July 27, 2015. Pineweed- Yellow Blossoms Like Star Jewels. The pineweed is in bloom! Pineweed, Hypericum gentianoides. Has tiny yellow star-like flowers and they are so small that they can be easily overlooked. Against the grey rock of our local monadnocks, like Stone Mountain, Panola Mountain and Arabia Mountain, they are like small jewels. My car said 106 degrees today.). See the photos above? I must admit, it does sound nice with his accent.). And you can ev...

Fumbling Towards Eternity: March 2013
http://fumblingtowardseternity.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
The explorations of an armchair pagan trying to find a path. Tuesday, March 19, 2013. Last weekend we were blessed with fresh snow and beautiful weather - prime ski conditions! The boyfriend and I went out to Sunshine Village on the Saturday and had a great day skiing around the mountain.and then he decided it was time for me to learn how to ski moguls. Now, I hate moguls. HATE them. Why? The boyfriend said. "You have to commit to the turn, you have to be aggressive." Ok. Turn Turn, dammnit! Beneath An I...

Georgia Girl With An English Heart: April 2015
http://georgiagirlwithanenglishheart.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Georgia Girl With An English Heart. Thursday, April 30, 2015. My Dad called me today and was most excited about seeing a bird on his deck. It's got a black head, and it's white underneath and the red on the front is like a bib, and that red is the PRETTIEST red that you have ever seen! Do you know what it is? My Dad knows I know my birds! And I also read that their song is like an American robin's but more melodious, as if a robin had taken singing lessons! Stay young, no matter what your age! Also, Shar...

Georgia Girl With An English Heart: Hearts-A-Busting-With-Love
http://georgiagirlwithanenglishheart.blogspot.com/2013/10/hearts-busting-with-love.html
Georgia Girl With An English Heart. Tuesday, October 8, 2013. Recently, on the same day of the special wildflower planting day (which I still need to do a post about, I am remembering), I felt that I just HAD to get over to the trail at Panola Mountain which is the rock outcrop trail.and I am so glad that did! It was midday and there was a shaft of sunlight filtering through the trees and it was as if a special spotlight was shining upon this. Anything stopped you in your tracks lately? October 9, 2013 a...

Fumbling Towards Eternity: June 2013
http://fumblingtowardseternity.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
The explorations of an armchair pagan trying to find a path. Friday, June 21, 2013. Rain, Rain, Go Away. Friends of mine are getting married today, on the summer solstice. What a nice way to celebrate, don't you think? The turning of the Wheel, a new chapter in life. I had plans for a lovely post and an even lovelier celebration, that's all gone. Just in case we get stuck along the way there or back. Not really feeling the celebratory spirit yet, but here's hoping! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
