I'm then off to Osaka again for a week or so then I'll join in (possibly just before I go too). I actually ran the beta on my MacBook which is 2 years old so that was amazing, but I do plan to build a new machine upon returning from Japan anyway so I can actually. Justified by the fact that I can lend my MacBook to Ev for her COFA ****.

Ok I can't stop drooling over FFXIV screenshots from the alpha. It's pretty much official, I'll be getting the game. And on release. I guess the not-so-good news is that I won't be as awesome in it as I was in FFXI since I'll have no where near the amount of time to dedicate to it as I did in high school. AHHHH I WANT I WANT I WANT. I think I'll start another LJ for FFXIV though as I'm 99% sure a ton of my current friends on this LJ won't want to hear about that kind of shit so yeah.
