I had a week off from teaching due to exams at school, and I traveled to Sulawesi which, as you can see on the map below, is the weirdly-shaped island next to Kalimantan (Indonesian Borneo). I'm sitting here in the dark, listening to it rain outside and hoping that my house doesn't flood! Doesn't just make it uncomfortably hot - it allows mosquitoes to thrive in my room to the point where I once got bitten so much that I had to get out of bed, cover every exposed part of my body with insect repellent, and try miserably to fall back asleep.
