Friday, August 28, 2009. Grandpa with all the grandkids! Tiger Stadium: Detroit, MI. Our main event in June was a week long visit to the cousins in Ft. Worth. We stayed a couple of nights at The Great Wolf Lodge Resort. It has an indoor and outdoor water park including tube rides, a wave pool, water playscapes, etc. The kids had a blast and Uncle Mikey made margaritas at night for us adults (thanks Mikey). Thursday, October 23, 2008. 10 Things I Love About Austin. 1 There they are, just as you almost hit the city limits - slowly you start to see them. OBAMA bumper stickers! They're everywhere and I am reminded yet again how I miss Austin. 3 UT (yes this is different from the Longhorns - the University itself, not the sports). 4 Zilker Park and the Zilker Zephyr. 6 City Parks around every corner. 7 Town Lake (I think they've renamed it which is probably a good thing). 9 Recycling containers readily available.

Wednesday, November 26, 2008. A Few More Things. Forgot also to mention Nolan had his first field trip in kindergarten. They visisted a pumpkin patch and learned all kinds of things. She used a black dry erase marker to color her "ENTIRE" body. She then proceeded to color the walls of her room. Welcome to the Circus. Monday, January 12, 2009. Isabelle's First Dance Class. Isabelle went to her first dance class last Thursday. Now it was not my idea, the owner of the studio where I teach asked if she wanted to try it and she yes so we went! She loved it. Isabelle is a ham and wanted to volunteer for everything and do everything first (even if she didn't know what was going on). It was hilarious to watch.
