I had forgotten about everything that it took to get there, the poison oak, the heat, the sharp branches and leaves that scraped your skin as you walked through thick overgrown parts of the trail. I had a “we’re moving” post in the works but it never got finished because, well, we moved and I’ve been exhausted. It was a slow transition because we had to move most of our things out of our house before we actually moved out. We love having visitors and even more when they are family. My parents have been here in Suli with us for the last week or so and it has been wonderful =). Jack is loving the extra play-mates and we are all enjoying quality family time. Having a yard is not really a thing here. The most any house has is a small garden or patch of grass within the front gates. This causes for a lot of overspill into the streets, especially the big kids who need some space to run around, kick a ball or ride their bikes. Jack thinks he is one of these kids. Our Family is Growing! Well, I am at least! We’ve been meaning to announce this for a while but didn’t know quite how. Jack is the ultimate double dipper. Each time he sticks his veggie into the bowl, he only licks off the dip before his next plunge. Jack on the Balcony. We are staying in a friend’s house while they are on vacation. It is much bigger than our house and has a shower with a heated floor, so we are on vacation too =). Jack’s favorite part (other than playing with all the new toys) is the balcony. Who Knew There Was A Dirt Truck? Aloe plant doing well in a bigger pot =). Every season I try to grow a garden. I only have a few pots here and there and have really never had any success.
