It has led to tragic loss of lives besides widespread loss of livestock and destruction of infrastructure in Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Kashmir, Sindh, Punjab and Balochistan. Two 40 ft containers arrived at Disaster Management Center, Abbottabad containing medicines, clothes, beddings, shoes, crockery etc. These items were donated by Disaster Relief by Irish and Pakistanis (DRIP), Ireland. Volunteers from Ayub Medical College and DMC are sorting these items that are being donated to the people affected by the floods. Truck load of these items will soon be sent to Gilgit soon.
