Shinjuku Heiwa Japanese Language School. Friday, November 18, 2011. Photo contest 2011 fall. It's getting colder day by day. It seems to skip autumn and go straight to winter. It was like summer a little while ago, but now it's chilly and can't go out without a coat. I can't believe that I was saying 'It's too hot! Till a few months ago. I guess I'll be saying that I can't believe I was saying ' It's too cold! I love Japanese 4 seasons. We had an autumn photo contest on 15th Nov. I wrote SHJ with leaves.

Shinjuku Heiwa Japanese Language School. Monday, February 28, 2011. The monthly event for February was 'Takoyaki party'. Takoyaki is a kind of dumplings with octopus in it. We only prepared some special flour for Takoyaki, octopus and cabage,. And each student brought something they wanted to put in it. We competed which one tasted the best. Only Jonathan is looking at the camera. She brought Kimuchi, and this one,she's making Tuna cone takoyaki. Someone brought pork, sausage and cheese. SHJ staff made it.

Shinjuku Heiwa Japanese Language School. Wednesday, February 1, 2012. New year party 2012. We had a ricecake party on January 18th. We talked about how Japanese people spend new year,and studied the Japanese names of the ingredients before cooking. We shared the chores,cutting a small sitrus fruit,cutting some Japanese radish and carrots,. Baking ricecake and so on. Sua-san cutting a sitrus fruit behind people chatting. Sou-san making spicy cod roe with mayo. Dung-san looks cool with a nife in his hand.

Shinjuku Heiwa Japanese Language School. Thursday, June 30, 2011. It's the first day of July today. The rainy season hasn't finished here in Japan,. But it's like summer already. Not only because it's July now, but also because. It's been so hot these days. Last year, it was unbelievably hot. I hope it will be cooler and less humid this year. It's kind of a serious problem since we need to economize on electricity this summer. I've never seen Tokyo people trying to save electricity such seriously before.
