1947年には前衛陶芸の 四耕会 48年には 走泥社 パンリアル …新しい美術表現の道を切り開こうと若き集団が戦後2−3年のうちに次々と誕生。 そうした戦前から続く文化や繋がりが新しい動きをはじめるのと同時に、別ルートでは、行動美術の絵画教室から勤労作家達が立ち上がり1952年 京都青年美術作家集団 青美 結成、彼等は純粋に作家によるアンデパンダンを立ち上げ、1955年に京都市美術館で第一回展を開催した。 戦争に行くときは 我が社のほこりだ といって私を送り出したのに、帰って来たら 赤や といわれたのです。 私を 我が社の誇りだ といって戦地に送り出した名古屋の会社に、私は 赤や と言われ、 国賊だ と言われて、ひどい思いをしている。
