Karate is a martial art developed in Okinawa, Japan. It was developed from indiginous fighting methods called "Te" (literally meaning hand) and from Chinese Kempo. Karate is a striking art using punches, kicks, knee and elbow strikes as well as open hand techniques, locks, restraints, throws and pressure point techniques. A karate practitioner is called a "karate-ka". Nowadays Karate can be studied by almost everyone. Our classes are open to children from ages 4 and over and we have no upper age limit.

Shinri Karate Schools offer beginners rates of just 4 per session. This is a temporary rate for new starters to try out our classes with no other financial commitment. Shinri members should pay for sessions on a monthly package basis. Your monthly payment should be paid in full on the first session you attend of each month.
