Wednesday, May 27, 2009. Still Kickin at the Shipman's. Well it's been a while since I last blogged. So much has been going on and I just haven't taken the time to update this. We have a huge praise! Stan got on a day run with the trucking company he works for. He is now home in the evenings by 5:00 in the evening. He is helping coach Trevor's baseball team and it looked so wonderful to see him in that dugout at Trevor's first game. Friday, March 13, 2009. Tyler recently celebrated his 15th birthday!

Sunday, December 28, 2008. Well another Christmas has come and gone already! Stan was put on everything opposite this past week and with the weather and everything that was crazy, he was frustrated by the end of the week! I kept telling him as we would talk on the phone while he was gone that we needed to be thankful he has a job right now and to try and think of the positive! That was one I'll never forget! Grandpa Shipman watching the boys play air hockey. BOY was she HAPPY! It is really nice and warm.

Sunday, September 14, 2008. With Stan being gone more and with all the kids being involved in a sport it's very hectic. It seems like there is never any down time, until today! I spent the afternoon lounging around doing NOTHING! Thank you God for a day of rest! It never fails though something ends up coming up and we don't get to rest very long, but not today! We took FULL advantage of the rainy day! Trevor's first day of school. Taylor's first day of school, she is holding Jordan and little baby I watch.

Sunday, August 10, 2008. South Haven, MI. Then the rain started, so we all ran to our vans! Once the rain stopped we went back down only to have another round of rain come through. Some of them stayed down under the beach umbrella and the rest of us (SMART ONES! Went back to the van to wait it out. All in all it was a GREAT day and ended up being very nice on the beach. The waves were incredible! I was glad I made the time and took the trip to hang with my friends on the beach! MY IDEA OF A PERFECT DAY!

Easton and his friend Christian were playing in the pool on the big white raft, and they were sliding down it and I guess he flopped out of the pool onto the ground.I DON'T KNOW because I wasn't exactly out there when it happened! Friday, February 7, 2014. Horses generally have 4 different speeds, or "gaits" as horse people call them. Aside from the obvious increase or decrease in speed from one to another gait, we also can tell which gait the horse is in by how they pick up and set down their legs, or their "footfalls". We also call these "beats" in the gait. The first is the walk, simple right? It's easy to see that the walk looks like a walk! This has to do with the horse's footfalls at the trot.
