PORK SHIRATAKI STIR-FRY (from RecipeZaar.com). 1 1/2 lbs pork chops, sliced into thin strips. 2 tablespoons dark sesame oil. 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced into strips. 2 (7 oz.) bags shirataki noodles. MAKES 4-6 SERVINGS / PREP TIME: 15 minutes / COOK TIME: 25 minutes. In a medium bowl, place the first 8 ingriedents, and toss to combine. Let marinate for 4-5 hours or over night, tossing every few hours. Heat some sesame oil in a large wok or skillet. 2 large eggs, beaten.

Thursday, February 09, 2006. Pre-preparation direction for tofu shirataki noodles. Place a colander in the sink. Cut package open with scissors, drain noodles in colander and refresh 1 minute under cold running water. Drain. Bring 1 quart water to a boil in a 2-3 quart saucepan, add 1/2 tsp. salt and noddles. Simmer 2 minutes. Drain and rinse under cold water. Set aside until ready to use. For drier noodles, toss in a lightly oiled, hot, nonstick pan for 1 minute before serving or combining with sauces.
