Welcome to our Studios. Mike and Beth Shirk. Beth Shirk passed away due to complications from Myotonic Muscular Dystrophy October 11, 2012.). We were water media artists, and both physically disabled. But from that point on, our approaches to art were very different. Beth was an intuitive painter who loved to explore different media and techniques. Her subjects were taken from nature but her style was quite abstract. You can learn more about the life of artist Beth Shirk on her Memorial website.
