Sophie, Elyse, Nathan, Shirley and Eric. And then there were FIVE! Sunday, June 1, 2014. The end of school. Last Thursday was Sophie and Elyse's last day of school! So happy to be done with 7:45 am call times, weekly homework and spelling tests, and packing lunches 4 out of 5 days a week. Mommy needed summer vacation too. We've spent the last 2 days lounging in our pajamas, eating a leisurely breakfast and LOVING not having to fight over homework. Nate: Mommy, 2 boys at the park called me Poopy pants.

Nate had his party at a local fish store. it's nicer than it sounds. The kids had a blast feeding Koi fish, touching some sea life, and getting a tour of all the tanks. Enjoying feeding those hungry fish! Nathan looks a bit of freaked out by this crawfish, but he touched a lot of the sea life. Happy Birthday Nate Nate! Sunday, March 2, 2014.

The other day he told me about a little run in with some older boys at the park. Nate: Mommy, 2 boys at the park called me Poopy pants. That wasn't very nice. Nate: They called me poopy pants. Me: You know what you say when someone does or says something unkind? You say, "Please don't do that and That's not nice.". Nate: (yelling) THAT"S NOT RIGHT! Me: Not right, nice.

Sophie, Elyse, Nathan, Shirley and Eric. And then there were FIVE! Monday, October 14, 2013. Nathan is quite the singer, and he actually has a pretty good ear. He can sing most songs after hearing it a few times. I've heard him singing "I've got a Feeling", which is from Elyse's musical toothbrush. (Sophie's is "We will Rock you". We like to jam while we brush those pearly whites.). Lately he's learned a lot of songs from Bible Study class. (Deep and Wide, Jesus loves me). Wednesday, October 9, 2013.
