Occasionally it rained but when I saw this landscape near Powassan I just had to photograph this not so interesting scene, which the beautiful clouds and light changed into a dramatic view. Beautiful clouds, Mike. This is actually one of the best months for dramatic and varied cloud structures. Toren Breda 500 Jaar.

This time I made some images of a begonia. The plant is predominantly colour and texture unlike the tulips I posted earlier, which have in addition to colour interesting, strong shapes. An early Winter landscape, not much snow but icicles and the rock in a late afternoon light with some nice highlights on the ice made an interesting composition. It rained hard overnight, leaving most of the trees in our garden almost bare. Of course on overcast days the colours are rich, which is a great time to take some Fall photographs. Another interesting object I photographed on my recent visit to the Nipissing Village Museum. I was told that this compass was found in a farmer's field.
