Friday, December 05, 2008. Although this is our annual Christmas card photo, I decided to share it here because this was taken on Thanksgiving day and I hope you can see our joy! We have so much to be thankful for! David and I have FOUR miracle grandchildren and we are so thrilled to have them all together. It never seizes to amaze us at how well the three oldest play, for hours, without arguing! Julia is the little mother of the group and she takes pride in watching Sam and Charli and keeping them happy!

Monday, June 11, 2012. It's been some time since I wrote and much has happened. Matt got married in April and added another grandchild, and a daughter-in-law to our family! We love them both very much and are glad to welome them to the family. All of the kids and grands were with us to celebrate memorial day and we enjoyed it! The water was freezing, but the kids didn't care, they swam anyway! I got in with them a little, and was so busy watching them that I forgot to make pictures!

I know that I haven't posted since September, but being a single mom to an 18-month-old is challenging. Luke has remained off the top of the growth charts for height. He's growing like a weed and has a huge vocabulary. He's learning his letters; saying our meal blessing and night-night prayers; sings Jesus Loves Me, Jingle Bells, and numerous songs from VeggieTales. He got drums, a saxophone. And guitar for Christmas and loves music; he learned the story of Jonah and the Whale on the 16 th.

At the Rendezvous Café, Stratford Road, Shirley which is why we are called the Shirley Roads Club. We meet at the Cheswick Green Community Centre (postcode B90 4JA) on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays in the month from 8PM to 10PM. Our Wednesday club runs start from the Community Centre at 9.30 AM.
