Thursday, May 22, 2008. Since returning from the Pesach break, the shnatties have plunged into the frenzy of national holidays in Israel. Although it was a long day, it was also a really nice event, and afforded a great opportunity for the shnatties to see their friends from their "sister chavot". Following that week was Erev Yom Hazikaron (Remembrance Day for Fallen Soldiers), and Yom Ha'atzamaut (Israeli Independence Day) - which was extra special this year as Israel is celebrating its 60th anniversary.

Sunday, 25 April 2010. Hello again everyone,. It's very strange to think that Shnat is about to enter its' final month. It feels like just yesterday that the Shnatties had just arrived in the country, eager and enthusiastic for all of the challenges and experiences that lay ahead. The following day the shnatties took to the parks, in true Israeli fashion, for one of the most traditional Israel yom haatzmaut expressions - the family barbeque. I would like to wish everyone a shavua tov, and a safe week.
