Non-Depth Freediving Introductory Course. This Introduction is geared for students wishing to get started with weekly pool training before enrolling on a 1 or 2* AIDA certification course. It is not a full certification course and London Freediving will request that people continuing to train with us, continue with there education to a minimum of AIDA pool 1*. November 28, 2014. This will be soon this time of the year again when we have to leave the pool for a couple of weeks in order to eat and drink more than reasonable, and expect to see an old chubby bloke dressed in red to slip through the chimney with a brand new monofin in his bag! Following a tragic accident that occured in the Balearic Sea near Spain a few days ago, news have spread of the recent death of international athlete and multiple world free diving champion Natalia Molchanova, aged 53. Our members are very friendly, and there will always be someone on-hand to offer advice if you need it. We only ask that if you haven’t been freediving before, you take an introductory course with us. We are proudly affilliated to the British Freediving Association. And compliant to international agency AIDA. Guidelines and practices. Our certification courses are primarily AIDA-defined, although non-certification speciality courses are also available.
