Poxbox's Aikido Blog: January 2006
http://poxboxaikido.blogspot.com/2006_01_01_archive.html
This blog describes the experience of training as a beginner in Aikido. Friday, January 27, 2006. Class Cancelled On Account of Hangover. Ok not a hangover. just the flu from what I hear. Hopefully everyone feels better soon. Bummer. I swear I'm more level when I get to train. I was more frustrated with my kids this morning than I normally would be. But really. would you let your kids hit the glass table with their toy hammers? DAPI: 0 (No Pain No Gain.). Posted by Poxbox @ 11:47 AM. Now the first time I...
Poxbox's Aikido Blog: November 2005
http://poxboxaikido.blogspot.com/2005_11_01_archive.html
This blog describes the experience of training as a beginner in Aikido. Wednesday, November 30, 2005. Shikkyo, Ikkyo, Nikkyo. Started the night doing iriminage. I seem to get it mostly right. Once in a while I'm not connecting the person to my center as well as I'd like. Not sure why but Kim got pounded last night. Sensei picked on him a lot to demonstrate various nikkyo's. It could be that he wants me to see the technique or that he wants kim to feel what it should feel like. Posted by Poxbox @ 1:38 PM.

Poxbox's Aikido Blog: April 2006
http://poxboxaikido.blogspot.com/2006_04_01_archive.html
This blog describes the experience of training as a beginner in Aikido. Thursday, April 27, 2006. I Took Two Classes Last Night. It seemed like a night of almost doing it right. I'm not sure if I just never got corrected before on my mistakes for some of these techniques or I was falling into bad habits last night. That one correct breakfall made the whole night worthwhile. Maybe next time I'll be able to do two. Although. I still need to learn to rollout better. Posted by Poxbox @ 1:03 PM. Even after al...
Poxbox's Aikido Blog: December 2005
http://poxboxaikido.blogspot.com/2005_12_01_archive.html
This blog describes the experience of training as a beginner in Aikido. Wednesday, December 28, 2005. Kicking It Up A Notch. Ok In case you didn't figure it out, last Thursday's class was cancelled. Last nights however was not. For the first demonstration of this sensei told me it was going to be a back breakfall and asked me to attack. I got knocked back so fast it barely registered what happened. My back breakfall was fine though so at least that's automatic. When I tried my rolls I experimented with t...
Poxbox's Aikido Blog: October 2005
http://poxboxaikido.blogspot.com/2005_10_01_archive.html
This blog describes the experience of training as a beginner in Aikido. Friday, October 28, 2005. FallGet Up. Repeat. I've only been doing this for 3 months. I just think that breaking it down might be better than changing it entirely. Worked up a big sweat. One thing though. the space in which we practice has the heat on and it was set so high it was 82 farenheight. We opened the skylights up and by the end of the night the temperature dropped way down . to 81. DAPI: 1 (Nice and loose). I went to a Brui...

http://poxboxaikido.blogspot.com/2006_05_01_archive.html
This blog describes the experience of training as a beginner in Aikido. Tuesday, May 23, 2006. I Did 2 Classes Back To Back. Stiffness in my shoulders but I think its from stress and not aikido. Posted by Poxbox @ 7:43 PM. Monday, May 22, 2006. We did tsuki irminage, tsuki nikkyo and then ushiro tekubitori sankyo. One correction that was made right away was making sure I deflect the attacking hand better. Posted by Poxbox @ 9:58 AM. Saturday, May 20, 2006. Ok this is the first class I took that the instr...
Poxbox's Aikido Blog: February 2006
http://poxboxaikido.blogspot.com/2006_02_01_archive.html
This blog describes the experience of training as a beginner in Aikido. Tuesday, February 28, 2006. Scheduling Conflict and Ramblings. It doesn't happen often, but there are days when my wife and I are both busy on the same night and we can't score a babysitter somewhere. Given the recent problems my dojo has been experiencing, I thought it best if I just pack it in for the night and volunteer to stay home with the kids. Posted by Poxbox @ 4:19 PM. Friday, February 24, 2006. Take a Guess. Go Ahead. We sp...
Poxbox's Aikido Blog: September 2005
http://poxboxaikido.blogspot.com/2005_09_01_archive.html
This blog describes the experience of training as a beginner in Aikido. Thursday, September 29, 2005. Last night was a seminar with John Rogers. It was quite good. Due to family issues beyond my control I had to arrive late for the first session. I waited at the edge of the mat and did everything I was supposed to for etiquette. There were about 20 aikidoka. Around 6 of them were black belts. Although I can't say I learned much from the seminar, it was well worth my time just for the practice. Last night...

Aikido Kamp Planica 2015. Aikido vam ponuja vrsto praktičnih principov, kako do boljšega fizičnega počutja in lažjega obvladovanja stresa. 02 jul. 2015. Slike z 8. Aikido Kampa. 02 jun. 2015. 20 apr. 2015.
