http://thebbsmodspeparis.blogspot.com/2011_02_06_archive.html

Samantha...

AmericanStoic: July 2008
http://americanstoic.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 17, 2008. Hot It is hot. Also there is heat. The DC motto is, "It's not the heat, it's the humidity.". Except when it's both, like today. Like, your hair sticks to your forehead, and the sweat runs down the small of your back, and the feeling of your messenger bag against your thigh makes you want to throw it against a wall because it's melting. That's July in DC. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Hot It is hot. Also there is heat. Blogs I catch up on damn near daily, and links to love.

AmericanStoic: Martian Death Flu, Round 39854
http://americanstoic.blogspot.com/2009/01/martian-death-flu-round-39854.html
Sunday, January 25, 2009. Martian Death Flu, Round 39854. Speaking of The Germy One, she is sitting next to me reciting my Starbucks order, over and over, like a chant. "I would like a venti iced caramel macchiatto, extra ice, and a kid's hot chocolate." It sounds quite musical, actually. And she doesn't even stumble over macchiatto. My caffeine addiction is improving her vocabulary! Amazing parenting on my part yet again. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Storm of the Century. I Can Has Cheezburger.

http://americanstoic.blogspot.com/2009/06/weekday-outfit.html
Thursday, June 04, 2009. Still haven't bought that damn full-length mirror, but I will try desperately to post my ensembles. The turquoise of the skirt against the muted lavender was gorgeous to me. I wore them with these adorable espadrilles:. But knew I'd switch them out for these beauties at work. I'm on my feet all day on concrete floors! I took these pictures before I put on my gorgeous bracelet from Pixie-pants. Purple cuffed tee- Gap. White cami- Ann Taylor Loft. Turquoise skirt - Gap.

AmericanStoic: Storm of the Century
http://americanstoic.blogspot.com/2009/01/storm-of-century.html
Tuesday, January 27, 2009. Storm of the Century. The whole damn metro area freaks out when it snows, which makes me feel right at home. I grew up in Arkansas and various other locations across the South, so I'm not exactly an old hand at blizzards and the like. I have lived here for about six years though, and I believe there's only been one really big storm *in* that six years. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Storm of the Century. AmericanStoic: Life in the Big City, Part 75397
http://americanstoic.blogspot.com/2009/01/life-in-big-city-part-75397.html
Saturday, January 24, 2009. Life in the Big City, Part 75397. Shortly before 12PM: Me, on my hands and knees, cleaning up the cocoa my child spilled in Ann Taylor Loft, only to realize that a) no one who actually worked for the store offered to help me at any point, and b) the spot I just spent ten minutes cleaning is now the cleanest spot in the entire store. Damn good thing one of your friends was quick enough to pull you back, otherwise you would've been a candy-colored smear. God, I love this place.
