Monday, June 13, 2011. Babies and newest additions. I took some pictures Friday and thought I would share. I currently have 5 Broodies with a total of 33 babies. That will most likely be it for this year, unless I go into chick withdraw in late Summer. Daisy, standard Orpington, has her 7 babies that were hatched May 20th. 3 Standard Black Cochins, 1 Standard Blue Cochin, and 3 Standard Black Cochin mixes. Sunday, March 27, 2011. Finally set some eggs. This is my first setting of eggs this year. There are Dutch eggs, Bantam Faverolle, and eggs from my pet mutts. The tiny eggs are the Dutch Bantams. They are actually white with some light cream colored ones, but the camera made them all brown. That the the setting tray for my King Suro 20.
