December 17, 2014. Christmas came early this year for Mr. Snowman. To his surprise, Santa was gracious enough to give him the hottest mobile phone of the season! And to celebrate, Mr.Snowman shared his first selfie with his BFF, Rudolph. This is a mixture of my initial first sketch and cleaner lines. In this stage, I’m trying to define shapes and placement. Honestly, Mr. Snowman’s peace sign is one of my favorite things about this image. I really liked the way the twig fingers turned out.

Mr and Mrs. mugs. March 14, 2015. Since I’ve started lettering, I’ve always thought it would be neat to design a hand-lettered mug. I knew I wanted to start small and focus on a few words. That’s why I choose to make Mr. and Mrs. mugs. This project gave me a chance to concentrate on a couple of letterforms and offer a great gift for any. My mug design process. I wanted Mr. and Mrs. to be written in script, so I used a brush pen. Any paper will do, but I choose to use sheets of vellum. Make a mug sheet.
