Our Free Range pork. Year round in a traditional round bale shelter. Pigs are meant to root and explore and our environment keeps them healthy and happy. They also need good water and mud holes, both of which we provide and maintain. Pigs are very social animals. Years ago when my Gedo (Grandfather) homesteaded the land that I grow most of our veggies on, he had to bring in beautiful top soil onto a sandy bed. Over 60 years later we have the perfect combination of black earth and sand. We are very lucky to have good moisture retention and a great deal of nutrients and minerals in our soil. Directions to Our Farm. KNOW WHERE YOUR FOOD COMES FROM. There is always the option for you to come to the farm to get your product. We would love to take you on a tour of our healthy, working farm. Call ahead to Mandy. At 780-650-2047 to ensure someone will be there.
