July 4, 2015. Buddies visit the Amazon in Brazil! Dr Mike Good and his wife, Nancy, took a medical team to the Amazon for a medical mission trip. During this time, they traveled 560 miles on the river, visited four villages and provided hundreds with medical, dental and vision care. (One day Mike and the team saw 144 patients! Our Shadow Buddies were able to go along for the ride and found permanent homes along the Amazon river banks. Lots of smiles were spread throughout the Amazon!

Shadow Buddies Golf Classic. A little cold and rain couldn't stop the 8th annual Shadow Buddies Golf Classic from being a huge success! Delicious food from Salty Iguana and yummy margaritas from Teocali kicked off the tournament! Bloody Mary's made with Tito's Vodka helped keep the golfers warm! Our volunteers from Community America and Turn The Page Online Marketing were beyond helpful! Our amazing group of individuals who volunteer with us all the time, you are just the best! In 2015, The Shadow Buddies Foundation celebrated our 20th anniversary and to commemorate 20 years of Spreading Miles of Smiles to children everywhere, we launched the Super Hero Buddy program. The Super Hero Buddy program was so successful that we decided to expand the program into 2016 to incorporate the children who are going through treatment.
