The echoing distorted keys of ‘Dubplate Special’ combined with what is essentially a 3 minute long plucked bass solo kicks the release into gear. The contagious claps hold the other elements of the track together and you could be excused for thinking you were dancing away to a well crafted remix of the theme of some nostalgic 90s comedy that you just can’t quite remember the name of.
