Monday, June 4, 2012. Did you know that we just barely. Went to City Creek. The newest SLC attraction that everyone B-lined to opening day? But it still had its opening-day greatness. We didn't even go inside a store though.the water/fire show was too entertaining. And then we got distracted by the Cheesecake Factory. But before all that, we did manage to cross an item off our Utah Bucket List. Michael had never been up on the roof of the Conference Center. He walked around loving it all. So this one time.

Sunday, June 24, 2012. My wife and I went with some friends to see Pixar’s Brave last night. Not to knock the movie, because there are lots of reasons to see it and ultimately we recommend that you do, but the best part of the whole thing was the animated short that preceded the actual movie. What can I say? I’m not too scared of them as a whole, but the way they depict one of the bears and a few of the scenes are so intense that it’s actually pretty dang scary. I had this old jar lying around in my house and thought it would make a great "Family Fun Jar" where I could stick all the ideas and we could pull from them when we are either bored or want to do something fun. It took a few days and a lot of research, but here is the list I compiled.hopefully there are a couple things that might interest you. It ranges from free in-your-own-backyard activities to all-day adventures. Have a water balloon fight. Play hand and foot. Play a card game.
