Meditations of a wallflower. Tuesday, August 11, 2009. I took a little peek into my dear and crafty friend Lindsey's blog. This morning and was inspired to follow her in this creative little project. That being: One must create a hypothetical album cover for a fictional band. I was surprised at how "cool" I thought mine came out. I dig it. The quote I found was by William S. Tomorrow's easter day, but this afternoon we're going to fred's sister's house for a påskafton (easter eve) celebration. she said only to "bring a smile", but when i found this recipe on martha stewart's site this morning and THEN discovered that i had pretty much everything i needed (including 3 very ripe bananas! I couldn't resist. and besides, when is NOT a good time to bake cupcakes? 20 degrees celsius/68 fahrenheit! They made ME smile. :).

But knowing that he was most likely wanting to know if he'd be obligated to buy them for me every tuesday for the rest of our lives, i probably downplayed my love for the oh so beautiful buds and said they were "alright".only to discover that my tall swede would take that as definite dislike. Meditations of a wallflower. Wednesday, November 26, 2008. Quinoa w/ soy-glazed veggies and goat cheese. Fan of quinoa. i love the way it tastes a little nutty, i love the way it looks with those curly little grainy ends, and i love the way you could pretty much use it in any combination of things.even stuffed in sweet pears! Yeah, i know. that's next on my list! Quinoa is an excellent source of protein to boot (along with countless other nutritional benefits)! 1 cup = about 50% of your daily value!
