I couldn’t have wished for a better artist to take the very first artists slot at Sheepish. Nicola’s work is stunning and as soon as visitors entered the hub I would hear their praise and pleasure at her work. She truly has a magic touch with felt and I hope she has a long association with the shop. See where she is exhibiting next or see a few of the felt pictures I persuaded her to leave in the shop. There is a great power in being with others in silence. Join us every fortnight at the beginning of the new week for a half hours silent meditation. Bring nothing but your desire to sit in peace. No meditation experience necessary and no need to book. Please arrive at 8.50, ready for a short reading at 8.55. We will then be in silence (the shop will be closed) until 9.30. Sheepish is delighted to have some of Sue’s pen and ink sheep originals for sale in the shop. Sue’s career was in teaching, specialising in Art and Textiles before she moved to Shropshire in 2001. Here she is constantly inspired by the countryside and its bird and animal life. She works mainly with water colour and pen and ink and is a regular exhibitor with the Castle Artists.
