The ongoing story of Don and Jan's place in Montana. Wednesday, July 25, 2007. Oh yes, we have wildlife living with us at Shorthorse. Mostly whitetail but we've spotted a couple mulies too. The deer are ALWAYS there. We had a herd living in our yard last winter. We expect that to change when the place is fully occupied, but they'll still be close by. Larry, our builder, saw a small black bear amble down the driveway last month when the crew was sitting in the garage eating lunch! Exit of the Yakima Club.
