Tuesday, April 17, 2007. Wine, Champagne and Victoria Silvstedt - The Perfect Vacation. I'm back like a migraine headache ready to irritate the hell out of you. I had the best vacation any American could hope for. I'm convinced that every person in France has at least half of the year off and the other half they pretend to work. I couple of things that really stood out this time around in France were:. Television in Europe is much better than here in the States. In prime time is better than the Super Bowl.

Thursday, September 21, 2006. Just the bare necessities, does not feel the need to upstage the unbelievable action on the field. That's a man who respects the game and the fans who are watching. Of those two, I'm less of a fan of Madden (though he is better than most of the current crop of annoucners), but he really was good when he was paired with Summerall back on CBS, because it was before he was the larger-than-life figure that he is now. Going Deep: Re-Seeding the NBA Playoffs
http://goingdeepsports.blogspot.com/2007/04/re-seeding-nba-playoffs.html
Saturday, April 21, 2007. Re-Seeding the NBA Playoffs. And who wouldn't want to see some of these matchups? A first-round series between Miami and Los Angeles would be the prime-time series of the first round for television purposes, guaranteed. Even if the Kobe-Shaq feud is officially over, you know TV execs would be salivating all over themselves to get that matchup in te premier time slot. Here's how I would see my second round shaping up:. By the way, you'll notice that I'm not picking many upsets he...

Going Deep: Thanks Hoyas
http://goingdeepsports.blogspot.com/2007/04/thanks-hoyas.html
Sunday, April 01, 2007. A day later, the unapologetic finality of it all is setting in. The dream run of the Georgetown Hoyas came to a close last night with a deflating loss to Ohio State. All my friends and I could focus on after the game were the. Jeff Green had played a more assertive game. We could have capitalized on Greg Oden's limited playing time. Never came to fruition, and the Buckeyes were the better team last night. I know that Hoya fans everywhere will cling to the idea that if we playe...

Wednesday, January 31, 2007. Favorite Super Bowl Commercials: #6 and #5. 6: Mountain Dew - Bohemian Rhapsody Remake - The original Queen song is sacred, and you've got to be really careful not to mess with it for commercial reasons. But this ad gets it right. It really pays homage to Queen rather than desecrating their signature song. I don't think you could have pulled off this ad with any other soda though. Mountain. Dew seems to fit the occasion. 5: McDonald's - "The Showdown" between MJ. As it stands...
