Sunday, September 30, 2007. Neurodevelopmental Therapy - FAQs. NDT stands for NeuroDevelopmental Therapy. This is a treatment approach founded by Dr. Berta Bobath and Dr. Karl Bobath, London in 1940s. Hence it is also called as The Bobath Approach. This approach is used for the treatment of neuromotor dysfunctions like Cerebral Palsy, Stroke, Spinal Muscular Atrophy, Down’s Syndrome, etc. How is NDT different from conventional therapy?
