Seventeen members practiced drawing facial expressions and learned new techniques. Student members were recognized for their support in caring for the manga collection by keeping it shelved and readily available for all manga readers. Wednesday, December 19, 2012. December 19, 2012. We made fir tree origami ornaments with instruction from Mrs. Stout. Johnnie donated some beautiful origami paper and the finished trees were beautiful! Club members were recognized for being responsible for shelving the manga collection and treated to hot cocoa. High School Author Visits. Monday, February 23, 2009. I left a basket at his hotel filled with homemade chocolate chip cookies, a Strasburg High School baseball cap, juice boxes, and Virginia peanuts. During our Spring Fling Day, students at the high school created a beautiful homespun quilt to give Mr. Crutcher as a gift when he arrived at the school.
