Tim's blogfest: Snowbird, Utah
http://timsblogfest.blogspot.com/2011/03/snowbird-utah.html
Sunday, March 06, 2011. This is the view from the top of the high speed tram. Salt lake city is off to the right. Out the rear window of the tram is the Snowbird lodge and other village structures . A better shot of the lodge. This view is off the back side of the tram. This shot of me is standing right where the last picture was taken, getting ready to ski down the run. This is the top, right before I took off down the mountain. Rear of mountain trailmap. You just need the right instructor! Nice work...

Tim's blogfest: Alta, Utah
http://timsblogfest.blogspot.com/2011/03/alta-utah.html
Friday, March 04, 2011. This is the third installment of my 2011 Utah ski odyssey. Alta. Well, there you have it. Not in the top ten for on mountain food, lodging, dining, terrain parks (they don't have or need one), off hill activities, or family programs. This is a skier's mountain, and this is what they do: provide the best skiing experience in America. End of story. Getting ready for my first run near the base lodge. It began to burn through again just in time for my last run. The Sheriff of Alta.

Tim's blogfest: April 2010
http://timsblogfest.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, April 10, 2010. Derek and I went to Salt Lake City Utah during his spring break from high school to get in a little skiing. Although we had originally planned to ski Alta. Mother Nature threw us a curve ball and we wound up skiing for two days at the Park City Mountain Resort. So we decided that we'd take a drive and see the Great Salt Lake. On Wednesday, Little Cottonwood Canyon was still closed, so we decided to ski in Park City. Park City has three excellent Resorts. Deer Valley. All that I ...

Tim's blogfest: June 2010
http://timsblogfest.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 20, 2010. Here it is again, Father's Day! This picture was taken somewhere around 1969 or 1970. Little Timmy and Dad at the Horace Rackham Fountain located in the Detroit Zoo. It's a family tradition for Dad and the kids to gather here from time to time for a picture. I am looking forward to it being a "Grandpa, Dad, and the kids" picture in the future. Following this tradition, This picture is of Dad (grown up Tim) Meredith, and Derek. I think it was 1997. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Tim's blogfest: January 2011
http://timsblogfest.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 19, 2011. I happened to have an opportunity to do some work in Vermont this week and of course had to get a little skiing in. I chose Smuggler's Notch. And let me tell you right now that it was an excellent choice! Nestled in the Green Mountains, the resort stretches over three mountains, with the center mountain, Madonna, being the tallest. It was an incredible morning! The mountains were encased in arctic -like cold. A bright, bright, bright, sunshiny day! Upper Chilicoot blue run.

Monday, March 08, 2010. Shanty Creek/Schuss Mountain and Frankenmuth, MI. Luigi and Mario of "Super Mario Bros." skiied across the water without wiping out. Not one drop of water! Most others were not so fortunate. The party animals in the lift behind us were having a great time! Note the case of beer on the lap of L'il Abner. Just police up your empty cans guys. Spectators for the Submarine Races. Derek and I mostly watched from the lift. Better vantage point. I think the Ol' Man wore him out! Subscribe...
