Infinite Tea and Coffee. A boy and a girl. On either side of the world. Drinking in life. And causing a stir. My Manila – Bangkok Trip: September 2014. March 21, 2015. My best friend and I travelled together to Bangkok, Thailand in September 2014. Initially, this was going to be a big ‘all the girls’ trip, but it went from 6 to just the 2 of us. It should have been our sisterhood travel moment! Ah well, maybe it was not the time for it yet. Anyway, this is my second visit to the The Land of the Free.

Taking each day, one step at a time. Lub d Bangkok in Silom. One of the many reasons why I wanted to go back to Bangkok is to set my foot once more in Lab d Bangkok Hostel in Silom Road. Yep, you got me right here, I wanted to go back in order to sleep in a hostel. Lub d Bangkok from the outside. Floor Unfortunately there are no elevators going up, I suppose they did this purposely for guest to burn off calories coming in from the delicious food all over the city. Lub d, Bangkok. 4 Decho Road, Silom Area.

Because I find temples boring. One of the highlights of our trip to Bangkok was getting immersed in local art. Being a designer in the past, modern art is something I could easily relate to. It's nice to see that here, anybody with an open mind could just walk inside the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre. And just consume these curated inspirations. This is something I hope I would witness in my own country in the near future. I think I'd need a whole day next time I'm here. My portrait slowly comes to life.

A college economics professor one time told me that people whose chosen career is higher education continue learning more and more about less and less until they know absolutely everything about absolutely nothing. I think he was making a joke, but since he’s an economist one can never be certain. I see a parallel with aging family members; of all the things that have happened in our lives my grandparents tend to latch onto a few stories from the past and without fail. I already shared my Candy Man story.
