24 hours of gaming is not as easy as it sounds, and we recommend that anyone taking part prepares properly. 8211; Take regular breaks. From your gaming; go outside, smell a flower, make a sandwich, that sort of thing. We ask that every three hours during your marathon you tweet us or write on our facebook page to let us know what you’re playing and how your personal targets are going. Use these times to get away from the screen briefly. 8211; Stop the game. Remember to eat and drink! 8211; Go to the loo.

SickKids reaches farther than your radio waves. Two Peterborough radio stations, The Wolf 101.5 FM and 100.5 Kruz, will be holding a Radiothon in support of The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), one of the world’s leading children’s hospitals. For two days, they will dedicate their airwaves to sharing courageous stories from local families who have come to rely on the life-saving research and care at SickKids.
