The Misadventures of a Composer in Training: A Question For My Readers
http://composermisadventures.blogspot.com/2012/02/question-for-my-readers.html
Saturday, February 11, 2012. A Question For My Readers. I have encountered problem after problem when it comes to posting photos. It started when my Picasa album became completely filled. Since every photo I upload is automatically added to the album, I needed another way. I switched to Flickr but it will only allow 200 photos to be visible at a time unless I pay. My question is: Do you have any suggestions for a site I could use to store my photos so I can embed them without having to pay? Picasa and ot...

The Misadventures of a Composer in Training: Wall Of Quotes
http://composermisadventures.blogspot.com/p/wall-of-quotes.html
This is the page on which I will keep an ongoing list of the greatest quotes to tickle my ears. Careful what you say. Yours could be next! My algebra teacher: "So x goes with x, and y goes with y. It's like segregation. It's probably illegal somehow.". Katey: (when I saw my history teacher after school) "What class does she live in? Me: (looking at a cloud in the sky) "It's looks just like a fire-breathing giraffe.". Christie: (talking about beards) ". His afro. Me: "Um, honey, it's called a beard. What ...

The Misadventures of a Composer in Training: Changing things up a bit, and a wee update (complete with pictures!)
http://composermisadventures.blogspot.com/2012/04/changing-things-up-bit-and-wee-update.html
Monday, April 30, 2012. Changing things up a bit, and a wee update (complete with pictures! I know, I know. It's been a long. Time I hit a bit of a rut and I just didn't know what to blog about. I had plenty of interesting things to say, but I didn't know how to say them, so I didn't. But I'm back now. I think I'll be more likely to post neat things if I don't feel like I need to write some long, beautiful post. Alright, let it begin! This mask has music notes on it. Therefore it is amazing. Thanks for t...

The Misadventures of a Composer in Training: May 2012
http://composermisadventures.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 27, 2012. Sunday, May 6, 2012. I think I'm done with music for a while. This is what I was thinking when my choir concert ended this afternoon. But don't worry, I'm not done with music. I'm just done with singing for a bit. You see I've done quite a bit of it lately. I actually have a new composition that I hope to get up in the next week or so. I'll have to see how my schedule works out though. I have a new goal: Write something that sounds Chinese. I'm not really sure where to start, so...

The Misadventures of a Composer in Training: Sweeney Todd.
http://composermisadventures.blogspot.com/2012/10/sweeney-todd.html
Sunday, October 21, 2012. I know, it's been quite a while. And I have no excuse. But this was exciting so I'm going to tell you all about it! On Thursday, I had the opportunity to see Sweeney Todd at Portland Center Stage and it was quite possibly the creepiest musical I've ever seen. But it was good. Boy was it good. It was incredible! Really my only complaint was that it was just too loud. Granted, I was in the second row (cool right? But it just about busted my poor eardrums! On a side note of sorts, ...
