Wednesday, September 7, 2011. Debi took Liz and I and our kids to Heritage Park in SLC last month. It was a lot funner than I thought. Very interesting, hands on fun and yummy treats. These kids are so photogenic. I picked a few of my favorites. Lincoln and Alison were debating who had the best icee. Looks like Alison's won! What a fun, random thing to go do! Monday, February 15, 2010. We found the cutest dessert shop in Orem called The Chocolate! We got pazookies, hot chocolate, huge cookies and cupcakes so pretty much everthing on the menu. Always fun getting together with roman, shay, candice, rachel and willie! I love havin family up here :). Im so glad yall hang out. Fun pictures and especially fun to see Rachel too-I seriously worried about her and still do since I havent heard how she is. She looks great and hopefully she is doing better.

Tuesday, February 21, 2012. We are all so thrilled that Chad has found "The ONE". They will be married March 15th in the SLC Utah Temple. We are throwing them an Engagement party the 8th of March at. Val Vista Lakes and then a luncheon after the weeding in SLC. Melissa, Aryn and Bridgette planned a beautiful shower for her at. Melissa's on Saturday. It turned out really nice. Saturday, December 31, 2011. Halloween.I know a few months behind. Pumpkin carving at Grandma and Grandpa Fillmores. My girls are pretty serious about it. Dad is always the lucky helper. Patience Daren, we're in Africa. Saturday, June 12, 2010. As promised (a long long time ago) here's what we've done with our apartment. First, this is the reason we relented to take an apartment without running water (we have it delivered in six 20 liter jerry cans every few days ). This isn't quite the full panorama, but its a nice sample of our view over the water. The Table is made from tree halves instead of planks. Our favorite wall hanging from Lamu - its the one in the office. Stove, fridge, fruit.

Patience Daren, we're in Africa. Monday, April 19, 2010. Man Eaters and Friends. But when one rolls around in red dust to keep the flies and ticks, even the dull grey of an elephant hide gets a nice dusty sheen of rust. See for yourself. Okay, so these aren't the reddest elephants we saw, but they are the best pictures of elephants we took; we had to have seen close to 60 elephants in about 25 different groups (including individual bulls). Now about those man-eaters. Tons of these tall blondes about.
