We are actively recruiting students and postdocs who would like to work in cancer genomics and evolution. We have longstanding collaborations with other groups, especially Serafim Batzoglou's and Rob West's, with whom we have regular joint group meetings. What we do — The Sidow Lab

The lab's main inspiration is evolution, which is not only beautiful and surprising but also useful and relevant. Specifically, we focus on the evolution of function, which we are currently exploring in cancer. We have several cancer evolution projects ongoing in which we explore the relationship between structural and functional evolution of the cancer genome. Much of our research is collaborative with other groups on campus and elsewhere.
