Upcoming Events with Siege Activities. July 12, 2008: This summer, I took my siege engines to Baron Wars, Northern Oaken War Manuevers, Baronial Border War, and Siege of Talonvale. All these were in the Midrealm. Next event is Pennsic. I'll be attending Vikings Come Home hosted by Donnershaufen in Kalkaska, MI, on Sept. 22. I expect that I'll be doing some target practice and some authorizations. I doubt if the ballista will be used in any battle. They only get about 20 fighters.

July 12, 2008:. Sept 19, 2007: My Pennsic report will be on Road Report page, but here I want to list the lessons learned from Pennsic XXXVI. These are lessons with an eye to running siege as siege marshal in charge which I may do in a couple of years. 4) Even if a side doesn't have siege engines on it, they still need a siege marshal. I realized this after the woods battle. A siege marshal on the other side could have checked for injuries and advised fighters on the rules. June 11, 2007: Injured my back...
