From the trail marker you can see unbelievable views of the desert below, which I believe is the Lucerne Valley. I couldn’t take my eyes off of the desert the whole time I was hiking. I feel better now and I’ve been making sure to drink lots of water. I’ve had a few hours to myself and I spent some time reading in various beautiful places, on a bench by a lake and on a comfy couch in a room with a view of the mountains.
