The range is on 640 acres of land owned by the Bureau of Land Management, leased to Arizona Game and Fish Department and administered and maintained by a coalition of three gun clubs: Sierra Vista Rod and Gun Club, Cochise Gun Club, and Montezuma Muzzleloaders. All Gun Club officers, Range Safety Officers (RSO), maintenance personnel, match directors and general range helpers are all non-paid volunteers. Public Range Hours of Operation. Regular Adult = $6 per day. Adult Active Military, Retired Military, Dependents = $3 per day. Under 18 = no charge, but must be with guardian/parent. Range Pass Holders = no charge. Club memberships and Range Pass purchases can be made at the range and are good for one year. Single Membership: $45 (Single Club Membership $20, plus Range Pass $25 = $45 total). Family Membership: $60 (Family Club Membership $25, plus Range Pass $35 = $60 total). Cochise Gun Club, Inc. Membership: $20 Single, $25 Family.

You will be asked to leave the range if you fail to obey any of the range rules or guidelines. The RANGE MASTER/Range Safety Officer (RSO) IS THE FINAL AUTHORITY on this range. Point your firearm in a safe direction (DOWN RANGE). Keep your finger off of the trigger and out of the trigger guard until the command to "FIRE" is given and when you are sighted on your target and ready to shoot! You may resume shooting, but may not be positioned forward of the RED. WILDLIFE IS DOWN RANGE. Use of ALCOHOL OR DRUGS.
