Saturday, June 22, 2013. It's been hot here. And when it's hot I don't like to make food or eat it. But apparently you still need to every day. So what better way to get all your needed nutrients than a smoothie! I know there are tons of recipes out there for smoothies but I thought I'd add my own to the mix. I particularly love green smoothies, but didn't have any spinach or kale this day and didn't think iceberg lettuce would do the trick. About a cup frozen 4-berry blend. 1/4 cup ground flax seed.

Keeping on then, a LOT has happened since last May. A huge one is that we are now living at a different address! On January 11 we moved into the house we built (see here. Friday, March 30, 2012. Ever have a sticker or a price tag that won't come nicely off something? I know you all just said yes. Well I heard a blow dryer worked, so I tried it. I think maybe I had to keep the blow dryer on longer but it didn't quite work. It came off better then before I used the heat but it still left a little goo behind. Friday, July 27, 2012. I am out of brick songs. But we are not out of bricks. We have some leftover brick from our patio. Remember I was asking for advice on things to do with it. Well fire pit was one idea. And it turned out well. take a look. We had leftover limestone as well. So we first put that down and leveled it. Put the brick down. Friday, October 19, 2012. There would have to be some major handrail sliding or leaning to get through that. Brandon was skeptical as usual, so while he was working, I just did it. Like Nike. Here are my steps. Find out where you want handrail, mark nail holes in bracket. Each kit comes with 2, that means it holds 478lbs! I used two in each bracket. Drill 2 holes for the toggle. Following instructions on the pkg, I inserted the toggles. See the little tab on each toggle? Snap off extra end pieces.
