Sunday, 30 October 2011. Had a migraine at work this week. Used to get them a lot more often but now I am on an anticonvulsant drug which reduces the frequency greatly. Only get migraines about once a month now. Can't function when I do, I do get so confused that I think I can. It's a bit like being tipsy, but without the enjoyment or the buzz. In the coming week I will be doing an extra day in the office and going into London for a meeting which I always find tiring. Hopefully the benefits will outw...

Tuesday, 23 August 2011. Feeling well at the mo. Have some appetite, mood is good and sleeping better. Still very tired - as always. Getting a lot of support from my partner at the moment. That has not always been the case as he struggles to understand what he can't see. A broken leg is easy to accomadate, CFS on the other hand is invisible, invidious and inveterate (can't believe I found three 'inv' words there). Today is a good day, living in harmony with CFS. Thought that this would cause big problems with my energy levels but, through following the advice of my healthcare professionals, and using pacing techniques, I have been remarkably well. Instead of diving headlong into work as I would normally do, I took an extra day off after a week away and spent time with my family, lounged around reading and watching trash TV.
