Meadowbank-West Ryde Progress Association. Caring for our community. The inaugural meeting of the Meadowbank Progress Association (MPA) was held on 19 Feb 1971. At the Presbyterian Church Hall, Bowden Street, Ryde. The first President was David Russell. There were 2 Vice Presidents, Ron Masman. The first Treasurer was Geoff Wellings. Well it’s time for our annual end of year function and this year it is appropriate to have it at the Memorial Park in Meadowbank. The Memorial park is off Banks St in Meadowbank and the event kicks off at 6:30pm and we sincerely hope you can join us for a BBQ there. Meadowbank-West Ryde Progress Association. Caring for our community. New Strata Laws mooted from mid-2014. The laws relating to strata schemes are about to be revamped mid-2014, according to Fair Trading Minister, Anthony Roberts. These are long-awaited reforms and come after a consultative process launched by his department in 2011.
