How it All Started. Buy a Gift Box of this old fashioned treat that has been our most popular item since 1972! We offer 12 of these large (approx. 3" in diameter! Cookies per gift box. Each cookie is individually heat sealed in a crisp cellophane bag for freshness, and then the dozen is packed with festive colored tissue paper. Have a heart and give Signe's original chocolate chip cookies to someone who needs a hug and kiss (cookies can really say a lot). No nuts - munchingly soft.

I used a make shift double boiler to melt chocolate (no microwave folks! And when the recipe called for two ounces, I used three or more. The chocolate oozed out of my smile. I greased the cake pans with butter wrappers and carefully lined the pans with waxed paper.

I have a wonderful family, a very patient husband, four beautiful daughters, two sons in law, and four exciting to watch grow grandchildren.
