Sunday, December 15, 2013. This year we spent Thanksgiving with Grandma Shaw and Grandpa Tony, and Great-Nana in Santa Ana. The kids love coming here! We got there the day before Thanksgiving, and had a triple-birthday celebration since their birthdays are so close together. It was fun to see Nathan dig into a cupcake for the first time! Monday, May 6, 2013. Blake's opening day of T-ball. Blake started his 2nd season of t-ball on Saturday. He is on the Reds and has had 2 practices so far- we like his team and coach. His banner actually won "best banner" for the t-ball division! They get a free pizza dinner as a prize. He's excited for another season. We noticed he wasn't throwing the ball very far during practice, so we asked why, and he said, well, I don't want to hit anyone with the ball! We're excited to see how he does this year.

Wednesday, February 6, 2013. Nathan's 2nd month and baby blessing. Holding his head up- such a strong boy! He's even rolling over already! Nathan's blessing day- February 3, 2013. (Blake was sick and went home with me immediately following the passing of the sacrament, so he changed before everyone else got home! Joel's family came to support us. Monday, January 13, 2014. On December 23rd, we drove to Utah to spend Christmas with my family. Callie and Craig were there with their kids, and Karina and Adam and their kids, which made for 9 kids and 8 adults! It was so fun being together on Christmas morning, and letting the cousins play. They went sledding and played in the snow on Christmas Eve. We saw the movie "Frozen" which we LOVED! Especially when the Ashfords are all in England! So good to be together for Christmas! Monday, April 15, 2013. Nathan is 4 months old! Nathan in El Paso. He survived his first road trip! His new trick- sucking on his bottom lip. He also makes a little noise when he does this. His cute little foot sticking out of his blanket while he was sleeping. Nathan has discovered the joy of holding and sometimes sucking on his toes/feet. He looked so cute while sleeping- I realized I don't have many pics of him sleeping, probably because he rarely sleeps! We now have a 4 month old! A Year of FHE.

Thursday, June 20, 2013. Pretty much every Sunday we take a family walk after church. A few weeks ago I actually took my camera. Here's Nathan in the stroller for the first time without his carseat! Thursday, August 15, 2013. The end of the summer break. Anyway, we are now scheduled for next week on the 20th. Everything set up again, except this time my mom can't come. So after we found it was canceled, we asked Joel's mom if the kids could still come for a day and a night. They happily agreed, and were able to do lots of fun stuff with them! Disneyland and CA adventure! It had been many years since we've been, and the kids were so excited. We loved Cars Land! Julianna got to meet 3 princesses!
