We started with the Wampanoag settlement. Kids looking at a canoe in the making. They burn and scrape, burn and scrape until the canoe is hollow and shaped just right. Inside one of the homes. Rayne hard at work. Repairing rope on basket. Meeting house.church was held here as well as all town meetings. It also served as a lookout.

The Ray-Mar-kable Libby Kids. Monday, June 20, 2011. Day 3 in Boston. Our second day in Boston we decided to use the trolley. We started our days tour with a harbor cruise. A tour of the USS Constitution which is the oldest commissioned naval warship. (This boat is nice and all, but I sure am glad we have stepped it up a little.). Kids by a cannon on board the ship. Paul Revere's house is the little brown cedar shingled house in the middle of the other buildings. A nice picture of the freedom trail.

The Ray-Mar-kable Libby Kids. Wednesday, April 25, 2012. Mom and Daughter Get Away. Away since her brother was also on a far away trip. After our three days of vacationing were up, we headed home. That loooooong trip really only ended up being about 20-30 minutes away from our house. Ha! Rayne was not too happy to discover our mini vacation was just a local trip, but when you live in the DC area, everyday can seem like a vacation. Outside the AG store with Nicki and Rebecca. Smart decision. We only had to leave the campground about three times to get items "needed". I am surprised that we were missing anything considering we brought way too much! Rayne, the water girl.
