Thursday, May 11, 2006. Sikhi, one of my former colleagues at work, mentioned some interesting stuff about the Hindu. Getting back to the link above from Sikhi, it looks like the editor of the Hindu (N.Ram) is a 'card carrying' communist, and that causes him to bias the coverage of the Hindu towards China. According to the link above, the Hindu uncritically carries news stories of Xinhua (the mouthpiece of the Communist party in China), and systematically distorts Tibet-related news. Kus Tavan...: Look what Terrorists have achieved...
http://kustavan.blogspot.com/2009/03/look-what-terrorists-have-achieved.html
Tuesday, March 24, 2009. Look what Terrorists have achieved. Indian Premier League has become Non-Resident-Indian Premier League. No, this blog isn't about cricket and the concerns from a cricket lovers point of view, but only the pain of an Indian who sees terrorists win. 19 years ago, the Islamic terrorists managed to hound out a helpless and voiceless community from the Kashmir valley, only because they were not of same faith. Kashmiri Pandits have been living in exile for almost two decades now.

Thursday, August 31, 2006. Movies: "The Aviator" and more. Three recent movies I saw:. Then last night I had a difficult time sleeping, which happens sometimes. I ended up watching 3 (good! Movies on cable, though through my luck, not a single one fully. I'm really surprised to find decent movies on cable (the channel was Z Studio) and the ad breaks were small which was a huge plus. The movies were "About A Boy", "Legally Blonde". And "An Unfinished Life". Posted by VK at 3:42 AM. Monday, August 07, 2006.
